I have a Reliance mobile since about four years. Since some time I was inundated with calls at unearthly hours with advertising messages. So I used the DNC (Do Not Call registry). The calls stopped. For the service the company started charging Rs 30 per month as remuneration. I had no objections to that. Let them earn some money, I thought.

Then suddenly some time back my phone account started getting a caller tune facility. Anyone calls my number and instead of a beep beep, they get to listen to some Hindi film song! I did not like that but since I assumed it would be free I did not mind the inconvenience. Later I found that some money was being deducted for the unwanted facility.
I promptly got the facility removed. Now since two days I found the caller tune facility has started again! Does the company intend to fleece me? Do they think I have all the time in the world to hop along to the nearest Reliance shop to request that the caller tune facility be withdrawn? Why does the facility insidiously start again after I want it stopped?
Is this not fleecing?
